Styles, Presets & Creative Direction FAQ
Does Flow Batch Studio pass preview pictures to AI models as reference images?
No. The sample preview image shown on a ready-made or custom style card is strictly a human-facing visual aid. It is never passed to image models as an image-to-image reference. All styling is communicated through comprehensive, provider-neutral textual prompt specifications.
Can I combine multiple ready-made styles in the same video?
Yes. Use the Custom Style Mix or Adaptive Styles setting in Creative Bible. You can pick multiple styles (e.g. German Expressionism for nighttime flashbacks and Low-Poly PS1 for computer hacking sequences) and assign them to individual shots.
Which AI image and video providers are compatible with these styles?
Because Flow Batch Studio compiles provider-neutral specifications, the styles work with all supported image and video providers: Google Imagen 3, Google Veo, OpenAI DALL-E 3 & Sora, FLUX.1 & FLUX.2, Midjourney, Runway Gen-2 & Gen-3, Kling, Luma Dream Machine, Pika, and more.
If I change a visual style in Creative Bible, will it destroy pictures I already generated?
No. Flow Batch Studio protects your existing work. Changing a style only applies to new shots generated after the change. Your existing images remain untouched on disk. If you wish to update an existing image to the new style, click Regenerate on that specific shot.
Credits, Video Analysis & Export FAQ
Does selecting or changing a visual style cost extra credits?
No. Browsing ready-made styles, creating custom styles, validating JSON, editing specifications, and compiling prompt directives are standard features included in Flow Batch Studio with zero credit deduction. Generating actual image and video files on the Visual page consumes credits according to your configured AI provider's standard rates.
How do I know if an ingested YouTube video was genuinely analyzed?
Every deconstructed Style Family records its analysis metadata. When viewing the family, check the Analysis status badge: it reports actualVideoAnalyzed: true and shows the exact video duration examined. If the video was inaccessible or restricted, Flow marks the analysis as partial or failed rather than inventing fake data.
Can I export my custom styles to share with team members?
Yes. Go to Settings → Style Library → Import / Export. Click Export Style Library or export an individual Style Family. The exported .json file can be imported into any Flow Batch Studio account.
