Brand Kit

Keep your channel's logo, colors, fonts, caption and card styles, intro, outro and sound in one reusable kit, and apply it to a project.

What a kit holds

  • Identity & Logos — your logo, dark and light logos, icon and watermark picture. Each must be a picture of your own.
  • Colors & Palettes — primary, secondary, accent, background, surface and text colors.
  • Typography — the heading, body and caption fonts. Cards, lower thirds and captions that you have not styled by hand follow these fonts and the palette.
  • Video Watermark — where the logo sits on the video, its size and opacity.
  • Captions & Cards — the caption style, the title card (theme, colors, divider line, letter spacing, length), the chapter card and the lower third.
  • Motion & Audio — an intro and an outro (a video or a picture) and a short audio sting.

Changing one setting keeps all the others. A file you choose must be yours and the right kind: a logo is a picture, an intro or outro a video or picture, the sting audio. Anything else is refused with a message.

Apply a kit to a project

  1. On the Brand Kit page choose Apply on a kit, then choose which parts to apply.
  2. Or open the Editor: the Brand Kit panel shows the kit that is applied, the parts that are on, and lets you switch the kit, apply its latest version or remove it.

Applying copies the kit into the project. Editing the kit later does not change that video until you apply it again; the Editor tells you when the kit has changed since it was applied. A project's own logo setting always wins: if you turn the logo off in the Editor it stays off.

Title card

A kit only sets how a title card looks. A title card is added to a video only when you ask for one in the Editor's Title card panel; it then shows and hides together with the chapter cards.
