Creating a Custom Visual Style with AI

How the AI Builder Workflow Works

You do not need to be a professional art director or prompt engineer to create world-class visual styles. Flow Batch Studio includes a built-in Universal Custom Visual Style Builder Prompt that turns any general-purpose AI assistant (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) into your personal visual development director.

The workflow takes under three minutes:

  1. 1. Open the New Custom Visual Style dialog in Creative Bible.
  2. 2. Click Copy Complete AI Style Builder Prompt.
  3. 3. Open your favorite AI assistant (ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini) and paste the prompt.
  4. 4. Provide your reference images, screenshots, video links, or aesthetic descriptions.
  5. 5. The AI analyzes the visual grammar and outputs a complete, validated JSON specification.
  6. 6. Paste the JSON back into Flow Batch Studio's import box and click Save Style.

Step 1: Copy the Builder Prompt

In your project's Creative Bible (/studio/creative), click Create custom style. In the dialog that opens, switch to the AI-Assisted Import tab. Click the button labeled Copy Complete AI Style Builder Prompt.

Flow Batch Studio copies the complete, unshortened master prompt directly to your clipboard. This prompt contains 18 structured specification rubrics, prompt formulas, and a strict JSON schema.

Step 2: Consult ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude

Open your preferred AI assistant in your browser. In the message box, paste the prompt you copied.

Below the prompt, provide your reference material. You can provide any combination of:

  • Uploaded screenshots or images — Upload 1 to 5 images representing the look you want.
  • A film, game, or studio reference — e.g. 'Analyze the visual style of Spider-Verse meets 1970s Polish cinema posters.'
  • A written description — e.g. 'I want a gritty, tactile dark fantasy watercolor style with visible paper texture, wet pigment bleeds, and ink splatter.'
  • Video frame grabs — Capture 2 or 3 frames from a YouTube video that inspired you.
Instruct the AI to return JSON only inside a single code block, with no conversational introduction or postscript.

Step 3: Paste and Save in Flow Batch Studio

When the AI finishes generating the response:

  1. Copy the entire JSON code block from the AI's response.
  2. Return to Flow Batch Studio's New Custom Visual Style dialog.
  3. Paste the JSON into the text area under Paste AI-Generated Style JSON.
  4. Click Import and Validate JSON.
  5. Flow Batch Studio parses the JSON, verifies all 18 sections, formats token lists, and displays the compiled visual preview.
  6. Review the fields, make any personal tweaks, and click Save Custom Style.
