media/Every file, lettered AA, AB, AC… in timeline order.

The timeline has the visuals on V1, the narration on A1, ambient sound from generated clips on A2 (lowered), gentle motion on stills and a marker at each scene.

#Unzip first

Editors cannot open files inside a zip. Before downloading, fill in Folder you'll unzip into with an absolute local folder such as D:\Videos or /Users/you/Videos. Right-click the download and choose Extract all, setting the extraction location to that folder. Flow writes absolute file paths into the editor projects so the media links automatically; downloads are blocked until this location is supplied.

#DaVinci Resolve

  1. Create a new, empty project. In File > Project Settings set the timeline frame rate to 60 fps, then save.
  2. File > Import > Timeline… and choose DaVinci Resolve.fcpxml. (Not Import Media or Import Project.)
  3. Keep Automatically import source clips into media pool ticked and press OK.
  4. If Resolve still asks to locate clips, click Yes and choose the media folder next to the timeline XML. Clicking No can leave an empty timeline.

#Premiere Pro

  1. File > Import… and choose Premiere Pro.xml, then double-click the new sequence.
  2. If clips say Media Offline: right-click > Link Media… and pick the file in media; the rest reconnect automatically.

#Final Cut Pro

File > Import > XML… and choose DaVinci Resolve.fcpxml; the same file works in Final Cut Pro.

#CapCut (desktop)

  1. Close CapCut.
  2. Open CapCut's projects folder. On Windows press Windows key + R, paste %LOCALAPPDATA%\CapCut\User Data\Projects\com.lveditor.draft and press Enter. On a Mac, in Finder press Cmd + Shift + G and paste ~/Movies/CapCut/User Data/Projects/com.lveditor.draft.
  3. In the download open the CapCut folder, copy the folder inside it (named after your video) and paste it into the projects folder.
  4. Open CapCut; the project is in your list with visuals, motion and narration. (Need captions? CapCut's Auto captions makes them from the narration.)

CapCut needs the full media location, so fill in Folder you'll unzip into before downloading. If you moved CapCut's drafts folder, CapCut > Settings shows its location.

#How the cuts are timed

  • Cut to the voice transcript — the most accurate: each scene starts just before its first spoken word.
  • Cut to the pauses measured in the voice — for voices without word timing (ElevenLabs, MiniMax and Fish Audio direct voices, or a subtitle-only transcript): the editor measures the voice once and lines the script up with its real pauses, so sentence ends, scene changes and chapter cards fall in actual silences.
  • Cut by narration word count — used until the voice has been measured (open it once in the Editor); check the cuts.
  • Planned scene lengths — no narration yet.
