Visual

Generate an image or video for each scene, or create them in Google Flow and import the files.

Open Visual in the Studio

#Choose project, script and scenes

Pick the project and approved script; the scenes of that exact script version load below. Each scene shows whether it has an image prompt, a video prompt or both. Select the scenes you want to generate.

#Generate visuals

  • Images or Videos, then the Generation engine, Aspect ratio and Model (only models that support the chosen aspect ratio are listed).
  • Advanced generation settings: resolution, quality and duration (for video).
  • Source image for image-to-video, and Avoid (negative prompt).
  • Run preflight checks the selected provider, model and settings before you generate.

Scene images are made with the Creative Bible sheets the scene names (characters, location, props) as reference images, and a scene video starts from the scene's finished image (Gemini and Together), so make the images first, then the videos. Test with one scene, then use Queue selected scenes under Production batch to create one batch from them. The batch remembers its settings, can be monitored from Recent batches, and resumes without redoing finished scenes. Choose Instant (ready in minutes) or Batch (processed in the background, may take up to 24 hours). A Batch shows its plan and cost before anything is sent: scenes whose model has a batch price (Gemini Nano Banana: half the standard rate) get it, the others run in the background at the normal price. Generate now switches a waiting Batch to Instant after showing its cost.

#Batch details

View on a batch in Recent batches opens its details straight away; the images load as small previews while you scroll.

  • The top shows the engine, model, aspect ratio and number of items, then the progress: generated, failed, generating and waiting.
  • Resume remaining continues unfinished items, Retry failed runs failed ones again, Download all and Manifest download the batch, and Cancel batch stops it.
  • Each image shows when it plays (e.g. 0:22 – 0:24) and the narration spoken over it, above its prompt, so you can check the picture against its words.
  • Each image has Regenerate (a new take from its saved prompt; the current image stays until the new one is ready), View full size, Download and Copy prompt. Failed images show why they failed.

Google Flow batches are generated outside Flow Batch Studio, so their images cannot be regenerated here: generate them in Flow and import them again.

Times follow the scene lengths, which match the recorded voiceover once the full narration exists — record Audio before Visual for exact times.

#Google Flow: manifest and import

  1. Choose Google Flow — Manifest / Import as the engine.
  2. Download the manifest and copy the prompts (Images and Videos are copied separately).
  3. Generate the media in Google Flow.
  4. Import completed Flow files into the project. Files named with a scene number go to that scene; the rest fill the remaining scenes in order.
